He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley and Systems Engineering from UCLA, and earned his CPA certification at Price Waterhouse. His career includes consulting for Transamerica, serving as Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank, and over 20 years as an independent CPA serving small businesses.

James is committed to client-focused guidance, integrating rigorous analysis and ethical responsibility into every recommendation. He is the author of Tax Planning for the One-Person Business and The Armchair Investor, sharing insights to help clients make informed decisions and preserve assets.

Based in Sonoma County, James enjoys family time, exploring the Western U.S., and playing bass in a local blues band. His approach reflects a dedication to integrity, education, and helping clients pursue investment confidence and long-term security.
